• Abdul Majid Bad Graduate Scholarship: up to two years at $40,000 annually.


• Chinese Grant Council's PhD scholarship includes up to four years' worth of tuition, flights, and living expenses.


•Killam Predoctoral Scholarship Level 1 (Master's): Up to $25,000 per year for up to two years, plus international tuition costs and, if necessary, a relocation stipend


• Killam Predoctoral Scholarship Level 2 (Doctoral) - Up to $30,000 annually for three years, plus the President's Award for two years, and, if necessary, a relocation stipend

• Doctoral scholarship offered by Nova Scotia worth up to $15,000 ($10,000 for Masters) every year for up to four years.


• The Vitamin Doctoral Scholarship is worth up to $21,000 annually.

• Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships, awarded for three years at a $50,000 per year rate.
